1. By using the services of Conquest Health's online sexual health testing services you are deemed to understand, agree to and be legally bound by these terms and conditions and consent to the terms herein. If you do not understand any aspect of these terms and conditions then you should not continue to use this service. If your purchase has already been made then please contact Conquest Health immediately to cancel your order.

2. You agree that all the information you provide to Conquest Health is to be as correct to the best of your knowledge and you shall not knowingly omit to provide information that would be considered to be of importance to Conquest Health who is providing this service.

3. The terminology used within these terms and conditions is set out below. You agree that all terminology has been explained to you and you fully understand it.

Sexualhealthtests.co.uk is an online trading name for Conquest Health Ltd and any reference to websites relates to sites owned, managed and maintained by Conquest Health Ltd.

The term 'Specialist' used throughout the site refers to an appointed medical professional by Conquest Health Ltd. This relates to a practicing Doctor or Nurse as well as qualified counsellors that are employed by Conquest Health Ltd

'Remote Service' means the service provided by Conquest Health Ltd where a GP or Nurse Practitioner has not met with the patient or provided care information in person.

The term 'law' shall relate to any law that has been passed or enforced. This relates to any reference made to any law, regulation, judgement, government or governing body directive, local and national government or court.

The terms and conditions set out here on behalf of Conquest Health Ltd relate to each paragraph contained herein and includes the Conquest Health Disclaimer and Privacy Policy

4. Conquest Health Specialists prescribes treatments for the use of an individual and that individual takes agrees that the Specialist will prescribe to the best of their ability no guarantees or promises are made based on the best medical advice he/she has been able to provide you with. Conquest Health Ltd is not responsible for how you choose to use that advice that is given to you.

5. Tests provided by Conquest Health Ltd covers specifically the test applied for. A physical examination may be requested at a Conquest Health or Conquest Health Partnered Clinic for the purpose of identifying further conditions relating to sexual health or reproductive health. If a more in depth examination is required for any other medical condition this can be arranged separately. If a patient attends a Conquest Health Clinic or Partner Clinic for a cervical smear test, this service does not include any follow up tests or further investigations that may be required after the initial referral to a qualified specialist. Conquest Health Ltd is not responsible for a patient who has been handed a referral letter who does not act upon it.

6. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you agree that any test prescribed for you is only for your personal use.

You will inform Conquest Health Ltd if you are unsure how to take any treatment that has been prescribed for you by a Conquest doctor and you will wait for a response from a specialist before continuing with treatment.

If you are prescribed a treatment by a Conquest Health Ltd and suffer adverse side effects you agree to contact Conquest Health Ltd and have a consultation with a Conquest Health Doctor.

7. Conquest Health Ltd promotes communication with your own GP and advise that you keep your GP informed of any treatment you have been prescribed. Conquest Health Ltd will inform your GP on your behalf if you so consent and provide contact details.

8. You agree that by requesting treatment from a Conquest Health Specialist you are agreeing to said expert prescribing you said treatment.

By requesting to have a HIV test your consent is given to undergo said test in the way of Conquest Health Ltd.

9. Your Conquest Health LTD account remains private and no details or passwords will be exchanges with a 3rd party. You agree to take all reasonable precautions to ensure this information is not shared.

You agree to ensure that any computer or device you use to access www.sexualhealthtests.co.uk is safe from any firewall issues and is anti-virus protected.

You agree that you will only set up one account with Conquest Health Ltd through www.sexualhealthtests.co.uk and not duplicate a user account.

When you create an account with Conquest Health Ltd you agree to provide genuine contact details that can be used should a Conquest Specialist deem necessary to contact you.

10. You confirm that you understand that no sexual health test can be considered 100% accurate and that no treatment prescribed can be guaranteed to treat the condition for which it has been prescribed.

Blood spot HIV, Hep b & Hep c

The result from this test method are NOT 100% reliable and do NOT constitute a definitive diagnosis. A person with a negative /non reactive test result could have the infectious disease, or a person with a positive / negative reactive test could be free from the infectious disease. All results must be verified by a doctor on the basis of a whole blood sample test

Saliva HIV assay is a screening method only and negative results should be reviewed in conjunction with the patients clinical details and medical history.

Chlamydia Trachomatis (NAAT) Urine

Please note ?not detected? does not preclude C Trachomatis infection because test results are dependent on adequate specimen collection. Absence of inhibitors and sufficient DNA to be detected.

Neisseria Gonorrhoea (NAAT) urine

You confirm that you understand that the price of one treatment includes one course of treatment and that this may not be sufficient to cure the condition. This may result in more than one treatment being prescribed which would have to be paid for.

11. You agree that information provided by a Conquest Health Specialist is enough for you to be able to decide to go ahead with treatment and whether or not this is the correct course of action for you.

12. The Consumer Protection Regulations of 2000 clearly state that goods that have been supplied that will not be able to be used again do not fall under the category 'right to cancel'. However, Conquest Health Ltd will offer a full refund for orders cancelled within 24 hours of making payment.

Data Protection and Privacy Policy

The UK Data Protection Act of 1998 is strictly adhered to by Conquest Health Ltd. Conquest Health Ltd will not pass your details on to a 3rd party other than those directly involved with the Conquest Health network and for the purpose of carrying out the relevant tests. We advise that although we take extra security precautions to maintain you data in a safe environment there are certain external factors that we cannot be held responsible for. SMS and email communication may be vulnerable and we cannot be held responsible for that.

Disclaimer

Conquest Health Ltd will not be held responsible or liable for any of the following outcomes relating to a service provided by Conquest Health Ltd:

i. A loss of emotional well being or embarrassment caused

ii. A loss of Data

iii. A loss of reputation

iv. A Loss of income, revenue or projected profits

v. A loss of business

vi. Any losses incurred by any 3rd parties

vii. Any consequential or otherwise damages arising from a treatment through Conquest Health Ltd

None of the above detracts from Conquest Health's liability for death or personal injury due to negligence on behalf of Conquest Health Ltd by fraud or negligence.

Blood spot tests (HIV Hep B, Hep C)

Similarly to the urine and saliva testing kit the blood spot kit has full instructions and is very straightforward. It's a similar process to a diabetic test. A small lancet makes a tiny pin prick on you finger and then you simply squeeze a drop of blood onto the test patches. Complete the test and post it back in the packaging provided.

Straightforward antibiotics can be prescribed by our GP's if required. 7 day Chlamydia treatment is available free of charge, 24 hour treatment costs 45.50. If you have a reactive HIV test result you will need further testing from a specialist clinic and we will inform you of your nearest one.

HIV Results: by the nature of home testing you may be alone when you receive a HIV result. If you think you might have a positive result please prepare yourself as necessary, if you wish you can ask us to hold your result from the message centre and wait until you have some support with you. Without specific instruction your result will be posted in the message centre. If you have a positive HIV result we will ask you to contact us by phone.

Confidentiality:

How do I order?
